Cumulus Radio Goes Inflatable (9/15/2011)

bbi Display Systems were recently featured at the 165th Annual Canfield Fair in Ohio for Cumulus Radio. Several of the affiliate stations including ESPN Radio were promoted on the bbi billboards supplied by local operator, Spectra Motion. The display, whcih reached up to 300,000 spectators, was placed adjacent to the broadcast tents and appeared next to the grandstands during Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton concerts.

bbi Inflatable Billboards Introduced in Turkey (9/12/2011)

bbi inflatable display systems made their first Turkey appearance in Antalya. The initial campaign featured British Culture ads on both the beach and Meditteranean Sea. bbi product and services were supplied by local operator, Waterboard.vessels.

Banco Popular launched billboards on the Caribbean Sea, marking the debut of the billboard systems in St. Thomas. The units were operated by Caribbean Inflatable Billboards.

California Department of Boating Floats Pollution Awareness Billboards (8/25/2011)

The California Department of Boating and Waterways is taking its messages to the water for the 3rd consecutive year. Over Labor Day weekend, bbi Displays floating billboards will appear along various Southern California coasts and marinas promoting clean boating practices. The floating billboard boats encourage proper disposal of sewage in order to protect the waterways and the message targets recreational boaters. The inflatable billboards, contracted by Media Solutions of Sacramento, measure 24' x 14' and will be pulled by a small vessels.

McDonald's Deluxe Billboards (8/12/2011)

bbi's portable and amphibious billboards recently popped up along congested streets for McDonald's. McD's turned to bbi inflatable displays to promote its new deluxe cheeseburger deal. The campaign operated by local associate Panama Portable Billboards featured the display systems in store parking lots and along busy roadways.

Dallas Mavericks Celebrate Championship with bbi Displays (6/22/2011)

A 24' x 14' amphibious billboard was floated on the Panama Canal for Nissan. The billboard was featured at the Ocean-to-Ocean Cayuco Race where participants paddle from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. The nontraditional billboard display was operated by local associate, Panama Portable Billboards, and was towed in front of the lead pack.

Airtel Communications in Nigeria (12/14/2010)

Floating inflatable billboards were towed in the Lagos area for Airtel Communications. 36' billboard displays were towed by local bbi associate, Luzo Media, along the coast and highways throughout the region. Additional bbi inflatable signs appeared on land adjacent to highways.

The inflatable display systems were deployed by the Rip Curl Pro Search event. The advertisers message was seen by the thousands of spectators who came to watch Kelly Slater win his 10th ASP Surfing World Title.

Red Bull Flugtag Floats bbi Billboards on Atlantic and Pacfic Oceans (10/7/2010)

bbi Displays innovative floating billboards were featured along the coasts of Miami and Los Angeles to promote the Red Bull Flugtag series. The unique informative billboards coupled with custom props captured the attention of beach crowds and coastal audiences near the event location. MTV Mobile Campaigns With bbi Billboards in Netherlands (9/27/2010)

MTV is launching a new mobile brand in Netherlands and took its advertising campaign to the water. Maxflatable, an operator of bbi products, towed both IBB200 and IBB100 units in the Amsterdam region promoting MTV Mobile, a cooperation between MTV and a telecom provider.

This past weekend, Surf and Turf Inflatable Billboards, launched bbi's amphibious billboards in the New Jersey market. A 36' board was pulled offshore of popular beaches and gathered a ton of attention. The first campaign was a huge success and advertisers are lining up to lease floating ad space for this summer.

CA Boating Floats on the 4th (7/5/2010)

A 24' billboard appeared in the Marina del Rey for the California Department of Boating and Waterways over the holiday weekend. The mobile billboard was widely viewed by recreational boaters, local beach goers, and firework show crowds.

Floating Billboards at the Toronto International Boat Show Appear on the Morning News (1/18/2010)

bbi Display's products were recently featured on a giant indoor lake for Bombardier at the Toronto Boat Show. The floating billboard, supplied by Tynk Outdoor, appeared on Breakfast Television (video above), a Toronto news broadcast. An electric trolling motor was attached to the billboard so the ad independently spun in circles.

Alternative Media Spending Continues to Grow (2/11/2009)

Despite the slumping ad economy, alternative media spending is expected to continue its rapid growth. In a recent survey, 69% of media planners and buyers surveyed believe alternative ad spending would increase in 2009. Please visit Media Life Magazine (MLM) for the complete survey results.

MLM stated a few major reasons for the growth of alternative media include the "ability to deliver highly targeted messages" and "avoiding the rising clutter found with other media."

On-Water Debut in South Korea (7/07/08)

DM Communications towed a bbi floating billboard on the East Sea along Gyeongpo Beach, the largest tourist beach on Korea's east coast. The floating billboards were used as a unique way to promote the local Gangneung City government. Toyota advertised on our billboards at the Stan Humphries Celebrity Classic organized by Integrated Sports Marketing which raised nearly $128,000 for Rady Children's Hospital. Jerry Rice, John Elway, Ray Romano, and Bode Miller were just a few celebrities who posed in front of the billboard that was featured as the tee box backdrop on the first hole.

A 36' mobile floating billboard was towed in front of beach goers at a natural gas protest for Coastal Advocates last week and the billboard advertisement received media coverage on several national and local news broadcasts across the country (ABC, Fox, CBS, NBC). Additionally, the Associated Press mentioned the floating "sign in the water" with a "message that had a picture of the proposed terminal with a red line through it and two words: “Terminate it!” The article was published in over 200 periodicals worldwide.
